Before you order
Delivery availability, price and timing depend on the item, destination and whether specialist handling is required. The delivery option shown at checkout or confirmed in our written quotation forms part of your order.
UK parcel delivery
Standard UK parcel delivery is normally charged at £9.50 excluding VAT. Standard delivery is free where the parcel subtotal is at least £250 excluding VAT. Extended-area UK postcodes are normally charged at £18 excluding VAT.
These rates apply only where the complete order is suitable for an ordinary parcel service. Heavy, fragile, high-value, hazardous or unusually shaped goods may require a separate quotation.
Dispatch and delivery times
Any dispatch or delivery date is an estimate unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date in writing. Stock status is checked when we accept the order. We will contact you if availability has changed or an item requires additional preparation.
For consumer orders, we will deliver without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is made unless we agree a different period with you. Business delivery dates are subject to the quotation or order confirmation.
International and oversized orders
International delivery, machinery, tooling, pallets and oversized items are supplied on a quoted basis. The quotation will identify the delivery service, estimated timing and charges known to us. Import duties, local taxes, customs fees, inspections and destination charges are the customer's responsibility unless the quotation expressly says otherwise.
International customers are responsible for checking that the goods may lawfully be imported, installed and used in the destination country.
Collection
Collection is available only by prior written agreement. We will confirm the collection address, date, loading arrangements and any identification or vehicle requirements. Do not travel to the registered office unless we have specifically confirmed it as the collection point.
Receiving your order
Please inspect the outer packaging and number of packages on arrival. Record visible damage or shortages with the carrier where possible and contact us promptly with photographs. This helps us investigate but does not reduce a consumer's legal rights.
Risk passes to a consumer when the goods come into the physical possession of the consumer or their nominated recipient. For business customers, risk passes as stated in the quotation or, if it is silent, on delivery to the agreed destination or collection by the customer or its carrier.
Delays and failed delivery
We are not responsible for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, but we will contact you and take reasonable steps to reduce the effect. Additional carrier charges caused by an incorrect address, refused delivery or failed business delivery may be charged where permitted by law.
For assistance, use our delivery enquiry form and include your order or quotation reference.
